Governance and International Relations in the Middle East

The books in this series examine the processes, structures, outcomes, and consequences of governance in the age of globalization in the Middle East and North Africa. Governance is increasingly recognized as a critical element that simultaneously influences and is influenced by political, economic, social, religious, cultural, and global factors. Such factors include, but are not limited to, the nature and structural configuration of the state, leadership quality of the governing elites, role of non-governmental institutions and religion, the mass media, corruption, democratization, and foreign relations of the nation states.
