Sunbelt Studies

Edited by Meredith Morris-Babb, University Press of Florida
Series Description:
Sunbelt Studies is dedicated to books about the contemporary South and Southwest, now very much a part of our national conversations because of the idea of a distinct "red state" culture. Rather than treating the Sunbelt as an anomalous outlier, books in the series acknowledge that the region has been at the leading edge of recent developments in the United States, for better or worse. Sunbelt Studies has an interdisciplinary focus, with contributions drawn from history, anthropology, political science, sociology, and geography.
