To submit a manuscript, please send a one-page letter of inquiry to our Interim Editor-in-Chief, Meredith Morris Babb, to determine the University Press of Florida's interest in
your project. Please include your full postal address.
If the Press would like to pursue your manuscript, you will receive a Manuscript Information Sheet from the acquiring editor you would be working with. When asked, you should fill out the Manuscript Information Sheet and submit it along with your completed manuscript via email or using the UPF FTP server in this manner:
Go to: send.upf.com/sendmessage.aspx, and complete the form by filling in the recipient’s email (email@example.com), then add your email address, the subject, and your message. Finally, add each individual file you would like to send. You will know a file has been successfully attached when the dot beside the file name is green. After you send the message, the FTP system will automatically send a confirmation message to your email address. If you do not receive a confirmation message, this means your files did not go through, likely because the attached files were cumulatively too large. In such a case, you may have to break up the files into two or more batches.
Please allow 3-4 weeks for review of either proposals or full manuscripts.
