Sandy Huff, a photojournalist and native Floridian, has paddled 91 of Florida’s named rivers and numerous side streams. Huff has taught paddling for the American Red Cross and small boat sailing for US Sailing. She is a past captain of Windlasses sailing club and past president of the Florida Outdoor Writers Association. Lars Andersen is a lead instructor for the Florida Master Naturalist Program and full-time river guide for Adventure Outpost in Fort White, Florida. He is the author of Paynes Prairie, The Great Savanna: A History and Guide, as well as other guides to the Florida outdoors.
